We are thrilled to share that tracks from Epic Japan are featured in the official trailer for the highly anticipated action role-playing game, Assassin's Creed Shadows, the fourteenth major installment in the popular video game series, Assassin's Creed, developed by Ubisoft.

In Assassin’s Creed Shadows, players live the intertwined stories of Naoe, an adept shinobi Assassin from Iga Province, and Yasuke, the powerful African samurai of historical legend. Against the backdrop of the turbulent late Sengoku period, this remarkable duo will discover their common destiny as they usher in a new era for Japan. From chaos to purpose, from darkness to light. A new Creed rises over Japan.

To soundtrack the official trailer, Ubisoft aptly chose two tracks from the Twisted Jukebox album, Epic Japan, a collection of powerful, mysterious trailer tracks celebrating the Land of the Rising Sun: 

"The Five Rings" is an epic hybrid orchestral track with powerful taiko drums, hybrid elements, and a unique signature sound incorporating traditional Japanese instruments such as guzheng, gongs, and massive chants.

While "A Question Of Honour" begins with the mystical, earthy sound of ancient Japan, forging an epic orchestral journey that builds toward a sweeping, uplifting finale.

These grand, epic tracks perfectly capture the essence of ancient Japan and complement the stirring intensity of the Assassin's Creed Shadows universe.
